About the Region
The Kvarner Region is where the Adriatic Sea meets majestic mountains, offering a perfect blend of coastal charm, serene islands, and rich cultural heritage.

The New Gem
Island Unije is located in the northern part of the Adriatic Sea. It spreads on only 17 square kilometers, with many bays and beaches which are ideal for yachting, bathing, diving and fishing activities.
There are hiking places, sightseeing spots as well as historical landmarks. There are no cars on the island. It is renowned for its magnificent natural environment and outstanding settlement which is worth visiting. The settlement is a typical fishing village with 280 houses and 85 residents. The bay seen from the settlement stretches and forms a beautiful lagoon with bamboo trees which provides a great atmosphere of the southern seas. Its unique climate with warm summers, mild winters, pleasant autumns and springs makes it an ideal place for many activities all year long.
