Teams taking part in the Swiss Epic can extend their stay in Graubünden by adding additional nights’ accommodation through the race’s entry platform. By logging into www.active.com registered teams can add a night before or after the event for CHF 350, for two people sharing, including half-board. The extra nights’ accommodation is in the race’s official hotels.

Due to the current uncertainty surrounding the 2020 Swiss Epic all additional nights’ accommodation, booked through Active.com, can be rolled over to 2021 should you not be able to attend the 2020 race. This roll-over will be valid for all riders, in the event of the race being cancelled entirely due to Covid-19, or for individuals who cannot travel to Graubünden due to their nation’s or Switzerland’s travel restriction.

By booking extra nights’ accommodation, before and after the Swiss Epic, riders will be able to take in more of the sights of Graubünden. The pre-race accommodation, on the evening of the 16th of August, is in Laax. As the host town for the first two nights of the 2020 race, it is the perfect place to stay ahead of the event. Doing so will offer you the opportunity to take in some of the sights the race will fly by, including the Tectonic Arena Sardona, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Rhine Gorge. For more information on Laax please visit www.flimslaax.com.

Staying an additional night in Davos, after the Swiss Epic, is a virtual must. After five days of racing the last thing you are going to feel like doing is rushing back to Zurich to catch a flight home. By booking for the night of the 22nd of August you will be able to relax post-race. The evening’s accommodation also includes a discounted gondola pass, allowing you to get up to one of the peaks high above Davos – without having to cycle uphill – and take in the spectacular Swiss alpine views one last time before you head home. To find out more about what you could do on your extra day in Davos visit www.davos.ch.
