Having supported the Swiss Epic since its foundation, SCOTT now becomes official sponsor of the Swiss Epic.

SCOTT has partnered with the Swiss Epic, for 2020 to 2023 as the race’s official bike partner. For future editions, SCOTT will provide products and rider support throughout their partnership with the race. The brand, known for its engagement in mountain bike racing, contributes to the Swiss Epic’s exceptional rider experience. The cycling, skiing, motosport and trail running brand, founded 1958 in Sun Valley, Idaho and today based in Switzerland, has been a supporter of the Swiss Epic since the very first race back in 2014. SCOTT also sponsors the Absa Cape Epic in South Africa.

SCOTT is one of the title sponsors of the sport’s most successful teams, SCOTT-SRAM MTB Racing. The Swiss squad is the team Olympic and multiple World Champion Nino Schurter races for. SCOTT-SRAM are also former Swiss Epic winners, with Matthias Stirnemann and Andri Frischknecht, whose father Thomas was one of the event’s founders, racing to victory in the 2018 edition.

For future editions, each rider will receive an official Swiss Epic 110 litre SCOTT duffle bag at registration. These bags are to be filled with all the necessary rider gear, which will then be transported from race village to race village. The SCOTT rider bags are sure to be a hit outside of the Swiss Epic too. Post-race they will undoubtedly become a symbol of the race – an identifying marker for fellow riders to spot each other by when travelling the world to other mountain biking events.

SCOTT will be present in the race village displaying its brand world. For riders taking part on SCOTT bikes there is an added benefit thanks to a supportive mechanical service operated by SCOTT.
