Last Friday it was announced that the UCI has chosen the Valais resort of Grächen as the venue for the UCI Mountainbike Marathon World Championships 2019. Grächen has been a host village of PERSKINDOL SWISS EPIC several times in the past and is also one in 2017 and 2018 again. This offers the opportunity to ride the original marathon route of 2019 already in advance exclusively in the 6-day stage race.

Already PERSKINDOL SWISS EPIC 2017 will contain considerable parts of the 2019 marathon route. At PERSKINDOL SWISS EPIC 2018, a whole stage will exactly correspond to the 2019 marathon route. For professional riders who intend to participate in the UCI Mountainbike Marathon World Championships 2019, PERSKINDOL SWISS EPIC offers the exclusive opportunity during the next two events to get to know the route already in advance – even in an environment of racing. The Marathon World Championships 2019 will be organized by Grächen Tourismus in cooperation with the Swiss Cycling association.
