We all know that the Pyrenees and the Swiss Alps are distinct mountain ranges with their own unique characteristics, the SPAR Swiss Epic and the Andorra Epic Pyrenees are hosted by that massive ranges and of course they do share some commonalities.

We all know that the Pyrenees and the Swiss Alps are distinct mountain ranges with their own unique characteristics, they both host two of the MTB events of the Epic Series brand, Andorra Epic Pyrenees and the SPAR Swiss Epic but they do share some commonalities also:


1. Mountains shared by several countries: Both the Pyrenees and the Swiss Alps are major mountain ranges in Europe. The Pyrenees form a natural border between Spain and France, while the Swiss Alps extend across Switzerland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Austria, and Germany.

2. Natural Beauty: Both mountain ranges boast stunning natural landscapes, including majestic peaks, alpine meadows, glacial lakes, and dense forests. They attract outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, and nature lovers seeking to explore and enjoy the beauty of these alpine regions. Dufourspitze (Monte Rosa) is the highest mountain in the Swiss Alps with 4.634 m and the Andorra Epic Pyrenees is dominated by the 2,943 m summit of Comapedrosa.

3. Mountain Bike paradise: Andorra is called the Country of the Pyrenees and Graubünden is the Home of Trails, that just means one thing, the mountain bike is part of their DNA. Both countries, Andorra and Switzerland offer an abundance of pristine trails that stretch far and high. Riders will enjoy fast, flowing trails and rewarding climbs and descents.
