The 4Islands Epic wasn’t just another race for Lachlan Morton, it was a reset. From living on a boat in a dreamlike setting to lining up with riders who stepped away from everyday life to chase something bigger, the experience cut straight to the heart of cycling.
The week wasn’t about control or pressure. It was about staying relaxed when things got hard, learning as you go, and being brave enough to try something new, even later in your career.
