The four Italians representing the Trek Selle San Marco squad raced to their second 1-2 finish of the 2019 Swiss Epic in Lenzerheide on Friday, 23 August.
After rain and muddy trails set the tone during Stage 1, the Swiss rain clouds made way for blue skies and afternoon sunshine on Stage 2 of the 2019 Swiss Epic.
The Trek Selle San Marco teams rode to a superb one-two finish on the opening stage of the 2019 Swiss Epic, while the Shimano S-Phyre combination emerged victorious in the Women’s category.
The 2019 Swiss Epic starts its adventure through Graubünden on Tuesday, 20 August. At the sharp end the racing will be fast and furious while further back the riders will has the time to take in the breath-taking views.
