Located in Zurich and Davos, the Swiss Epic Race Village is the heart of the race, where the spirit of the race comes to life. Surrounded by Alpine peaks, forests and Swiss hospitality, it connects riders with key services, race information and the event atmosphere throughout race week.

The Route Ready for an adventure of a lifetime? Every year, we create a new route through the Alps, taking you over stunning mountain passes, flowing trails, bike parks, and beautiful valleys. No two editions are quite the same.
The Alphorns When you hear the deep, unmistakable sound of an alphorn somewhere up the mountain, you know you’re getting close to the top. Listen carefully… it might be your sign to keep pushing.
Race Signs Follow the signs and you’ll always know where to go. From direction arrows to technical sections and key points along the course, the race signs are there to keep you on track and help you ride safely through the mountains.
The Villages and Its People You’ll ride through small Alpine villages where life moves at a different pace. Traditional houses, local people, cows of course, and that unmistakable Swiss mountain atmosphere.
The Finish And then there’s the best part: arriving at the finish, tired, dirty, and happy, with the feeling that you’ve really experienced the Alps, not just ridden through them.

Riders will pass between two and three service stations on every stage of the race. A typical service station features Coca Cola, sports drinks, sports bars, gels, fruits, nuts, sandwiches and some pastries. In addition portable toilets or facilities in nearby buildings will be available too.

SAFETY
In addition to the medics on route, you can visit the medic in the race village should you experience any medical problems. The medical facility in the race village is open from the arrival of the first team until 30 minutes after the closing of the finish line.
Timekeeping Riders in all categories are timed by a transponder attached to the fork of the mountain bike. Riders will be debited for any lost transponders.
GPS tracking Each team gets a GPS tracker at the check-in, with whom your actual position can be located at any time and friends and family can follow you by using the Live-Tracking.

Davos Davos is where the Alpine adventure begins. High in the Swiss Alps, this legendary mountain town is surrounded by spectacular peaks, endless trails, and the kind of terrain that makes every climb worth the effort. It’s the perfect setting for the last days of challenge of Swiss Epic.
Stay close to the heart of race week with official accommodation options in Zurich and Davos, selected to combine comfort, rider convenience, recovery and easy access to the new Race Village.
Staying 4 nights in Swiss quality double rooms The all-inclusive package covers everything you need for an unforgettable week in the Swiss Alps. During 4 days, you’ll stay overnight in Swiss quality double rooms together with your team member which ensures not only a premium MTB stage race experience but also perfect conditions to be totally refreshed for the next day.
There will be a secure Bike Park at the Race Village, where riders can safely hand off their bikes before and after each stage, keeping them protected and ready throughout the race.

TECHZONE
Tools for self-adjustments and water refills will be available before and after stages. Professional mechanics can assist riders with spares and overnight repairs for an additional on-site fee.

BIKE WASH
Riders may have their bikes cleaned at the Race Village after each stage. Cleansing material and lube will be available to keep every bike clean, shiny and ready for the next ride.

RACE & STRIP STOP BAG
Pack your most important finish-line items in your Strip Stop Bag. We will collect it before each stage and bring it to the finish line, so you can stay warm, change quickly and be ready after every ride.
On Registration Day, you’ll pick up your Race Bag. During transfer days, we’ll transport your private luggage from one race village to the next and place it directly in your accommodation.

Stay up to date with the official Epic Series App throughout race week. Access helpful race information, event news and the daily schedule whenever you need it, so you don’t miss anything important before, during or after each stage.
Recharge before and after every stage with coffee, beers, fresh recovery meal and drinks served directly onsite. Riders will enjoy this every single day, helping them start the day right and recover after the finish line.
Coffee What else? Coffee! In case you need something to start your day right or you need some more adrenaline, there will be coffee available free of charge before and after each stage.

Epic Series and Swiss Epic invited all Epic Legends to a special dinner at Restaurant Bergführer, Sertig Valley, Davos in 2026. It is an evening of celebration, shared stories, and connection within the Epic Legend community.
In 2026, we gathered in one of the most beautiful valleys in the Swiss Alps: the breathtaking Sertig Valley near Davos. Surrounded by spectacular alpine scenery, it's the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening of exceptional food, shared memories, and inspiring stories.
A fun, non-competitive bike ride designed for young riders who want to be part of the Swiss Epic experience, enjoy the bike outdoors and share the EPIC spirit in a safe, friendly environment.
A rider designed especially for children and young riders. Non-competitive and focused on fun and participation.

Located in Zurich, Registration Day is when the Swiss Epic adventure begins. Meet fellow riders, catch up with friends and pick up your race number. At registration, each rider will receive the following documents to help ensure they’re fully prepared for a successful Swiss Epic.

THE GRAND FINALE
The final day is more than crossing the finish line, it’s the moment to celebrate the journey, the challenges overcome, the friendships made, and the unforgettable memories created along the way. A proud, emotional end to an incredible Swiss Epic adventure.
Finisher Medal As a successful “Conqueror of the Alps”, you’ll receive your well-deserved finisher medal.
An Award of a Special Kind Two teams selected during the week will receive more than just their well-deserved finisher medal—they’ll also be awarded a very special and unique trophy.
We’ll award the best or most creatively dressed team with the “Alpenpracht – Best Dressed Team” award, while the team that entertains us the most will receive the “Hüttengaudi – Best Entertainers” award.
And there’s more: the most loyal fan will be crowned “Alpenschatz – Best Fan.”
Showers and Changing Rooms Showers and changing rooms will be available at the finish of the final stage, even if you haven’t booked an additional post-race night. Freshen up, then enjoy the afternoon with your family or friends feeling refreshed.
Finisher Party Join us at the Finisher Bar in Davos and share your Swiss Epic adventure with fellow riders. The exact location will be announced closer to the event.
