Overview. Limited access

The Epic Series spirit embrace new riders.
SPAR Swiss Explore is a 2-day MTB race. Will be held during alongside the SPAR Swiss Epic. It’ll have its own sense of achievement but will be a less demanding course that will allow riders to be part of the community in a premium MTB experience, it’ll be pure enjoyment both on and off the bike​ but as I mentioned more accessible.
 
Weekend event.
These race will take place during the current European Epic Series events using the same iconic locations, offering a premium experience to riders that want to step in Epic Series events. It will be a saturday and sunday event so riders can join us in a great weekend of MTB.
 
Limited access.
It will be limited to a reduced number of riders with the aim of giving them a personalized experience that they won’t forget. Explore is like a teaser, offering a tantalising taste of all the things which makes the Epic Series so special.
 

Überblick. Eingeschränkter Zugang

Die Epic Series wird neue Fahrer*innen willkommen heissen.
SPAR Swiss Explore ist ein 2-tägiges MTB-Rennen, das während des SPAR Swiss Epic stattfindet. Es wird ein eigenes Erfolgserlebnis bieten, welches den Fahrer*innen ermöglicht, Teil der Gemeinschaft in einem hochwertigen MTB-Erlebnis zu sein. Das neue Format verspricht reines Vergnügen sowohl auf als abseits des Bikes. 
 
Wochenendveranstaltung.
Die Explore Rennen finden während der aktuellen Veranstaltungen der Europäischen Epic Series an denselben ikonischen Orten statt und bietet den Fahrer*innen ein erstklassiges Erlebnis, in die Epic Series einzutauchen. Der Event findet von Samstag bis Sonntag statt, damit die Fahrer*innen an einem grossartigen MTB-Wochenende teilnehmen können.
 
Eingeschränkter Zugang.
Die Teilnahme wird auf eine reduzierte Anzahl von Fahrer*innen beschränkt, um ein unvergessliches, personalisiertes Erlebnis zu bieten. Explore ist wie ein Teaser, der einen verlockenden Vorgeschmack auf all die Dinge bietet, welche die Epic Series so besonders machen.

Explore comes to give more riders the opportunity to experience the challenges and the celebrations of the Epic Series. Boasting an individual rider, two-day format, Explore will place mountain bikers within the race village to immerse them in a Epic event. Though the race will include less stages and by that will be less harder the memories made will last a lifetime, and perhaps inspire the participation in a full Epic Series event in the future, the time will tell.

Teams in the UCI categories will not qualify for age group leader jerseys in Mixed, Amateur, Masters, Grand Masters, and Great Grand Masters categories. Team age group will be determined by the age of the youngest rider in your team.

Payment Plan

We understand that entering an Epic Series event  is a big commitment, so we offer you the payment plan from which you can benefit if you sign up until 27 October 2024. The payment plan consists of 3 payments; these are due on the dates below:

  • Payment 1 (50%): At the time of registration
  • Payment 2 (25%): November 24, 2024
  • Payment 3 (25%): December 22, 2024

 

Setting up the payment plan is easy, you can select the option during the registration process. If you have any questions, please send us an email: info@andorra-epic.com and we’d be glad to assist.

Please note: Your registration is only valid when all 3 payments have been made. When choosing the payment plan, you can’t claim any partial refund.

Deferral Option

Teams who register on or before 27 October 2024 are eligible to defer their 2025 race entry to the 2026 edition free of charge. All deferral requests will be honored until midnight, 1st of February 2025 regardless of the reason for deferral. Deferral requests must be submitted via the online deferral form.  The deferral may be only used once.

Please Note: Riders who were deferred from 2024 to 2025 are not eligible for deferral into 2026.

Withdrawal

If you are unable to find a substitute rider/team, withdrawal requests must be sent via the online withdrawal form during the following time frames to be eligible for a partial refund: 

  • From opening of registration until 27 October 2024: 100% refund (less the 4% of processing fee).
  • From 28 October 2024 until 30 November 2024: 75% refund (including processing fee).
  • From 1 December 2024 until 31 January 2025: 50% refund (including processing fee)
  • From 1 February 2025 until 29 February 2025: 25% refund (including processing fee).
  • From 1 March 2025: no refunds will be made.

Rider Changes

 
If one registered team member of a team can no longer participate due to sickness or injury, a Rider change can be requested considering the Rider change processing fees below. 
 
The Rider dropping out of the Package needs to submit the online Rider change request form. In this online request form the Rider dropping out must inform the Organiser if any optional extras booked in his/her registration should be transferred to the new Rider or if they are to be refunded according to the refund conditions above. Once the form has been submitted, the Rider change will be actioned within 7 working days after which the remaining rider can invite their new partner. 
 
Traveler Transfer (Rider/Supporter change) processing fee:
 
  • Until 15th of May 2025: EUR 30
  • From 15th of May 2025: EUR 60
