The Swiss Epic is a premium, full-service mountain bike stage race, in which riders are left with nothing to do except pedal their bikes! The all-inclusive package covers five nights of accommodation in double rooms, meals, luggage transfer, bike-wash, a bike doctor and more.

NOTE: The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Therefore, you will benefit from all EU rights applying to packages. IRONMAN Switzerland AG will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole. Additionally, as required by law, IRONMAN Switzerland AG in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that it becomes/they become insolvent. We understand that registering for an Epic Series event is an important commitment, which is why we offer a payment plan that you can benefit from if you register by November 29, 2026. The payment plan consists of 3 installments to be paid on the following dates:

Important note: Your registration will only be valid once all 3 installments have been paid. By choosing the payment plan, you will not be able to request any partial refund.
Teams who register on or before 29 November 2026 are eligible to defer their 2027 race entry to the 2028 edition free of charge. All deferral requests will be honored until midnight, 31st of May 2027 regardless of the reason for deferral. Deferral requests must be submitted via the online deferral form. The deferral may be only used once.
Please Note: Riders who were deferred from 2026 to 2027 are not eligible for deferral into 2028.

If you are unable to find a substitute rider/team, withdrawal requests must be sent via the online withdrawal form during the following time frames to be eligible for a partial refund:
From opening of registration until 29 November 2026: 100% refund (less the 4% of processing fee).

Teams in the Elite categories will not qualify for age group leader jerseys in Mixed, Open, Masters, Grand Masters, and Great Grand Masters categories. Team age group will be determined by the age of the youngest rider in your team.
Both riders are male/female and have a valid UCI Elite License and are 19 years or older as of 31 December of the year in which the race takes place.
Both riders are male or female, with the youngest rider between the ages of 19 - 39 years on 31 December in the year in which the race takes place.

If one registered team member of a team can no longer participate due to sickness or injury, a Rider change can be requested considering the Rider change processing fees below.
The Rider dropping out of the Package needs to submit the online Rider change request form. In this online request form the Rider dropping out must inform the Organizer if any optional extras booked in his/her registration should be transferred to the new Rider or if they are to be refunded according to the refund conditions above. Once the form has been submitted, the Rider change will be actioned within 7 working days after which the remaining rider can invite their new partner.

Each full team transfer is subject to the below processing fees. A full team transfer, including personalized services, is possible until three months prior to the start of the Package, subject to the processing fee stipulated below. During the period between three months until one month before the Package, the transfer is subject to a processing fee outlined below to compensate cost of changes within the personalized services of the new Riders. In order to process the full team transfer, the Team Captain would need to submit the online full team transfer request form. In this online request form the Team Captain must inform the Organizer if any optional extras booked in his/her registration should be transferred to the new team or if they are to be refunded according to the refund conditions above. Once the form has been submitted, the full team change will be actioned within 7 working days and a registration link will be sent to the new Team Captain.

The Rider Badge is available to any participant of the Swiss Epic and can be used on any merchandise, including your rider kit.
